This is not a government office or records custodian. Florida Residents Directory is a private reference and cannot retrieve or certify a record, verify who lives at an address, or change an entry. Make those requests to the office that holds the record. Call 911 in an emergency. If someone is stalking or harassing you, contact local law enforcement.
Where to Ask About Florida Records
These links lead to the Florida pages for common record questions:
- Parcels and owners by address: use the Florida street directory path through county property and deed records.
- Older directory volumes: see the Florida city directory collections and research routes.
- One person's public records: follow the Florida resident lookup steps.
- State and county record keepers: start at Florida resident records offices.
- Records not posted online: ask the custodian under Florida's Public Records Law, Fla. Stat. chapter 119; a request need not be written or state a reason.
